Our friendly team across our four branches consists of Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians, Dispensing Assistants and Optical Assistants. Each member provides a vital role in your eye examination.

Our Optometrists

Alastair Wade

Alastair is our Consultant Optometrist and is also the Managing Director and founder of the company. With over 30 years of experience in Optometry he has chosen to specialise in a number of niche areas. He has specialist knowlege in a number of areas including dyslexia, syntonics, vision therapy and amblyopia treatment.

Alastair also operates our dry eye clinics, sports vision clinics, laser vision aftercare scheme and specialist contact lens clinics.

Kirsty Wade

Kirsty has been working for the practice group for over 14 years. During this time she has undertaken a number of roles from Optical Assistant to Office Manager. She has recently begun working as an Optometrist and specialises in dyslexia treatment and vision therapy.

Anne Reeder

Anne has worked in the practice group for over 4 years. Anne has a Doctorate in Optometry gained from research into Optometry. She currently works in the Durham and Lanchester practices.

Martin Sharman

Martin has worked for us for the past 4 years, usually in our Ryton and Prudhoe branches. He provides eye examinations and contact lens checks with a wide experience of contact lenses and solutions.

Our Office Staff

Debbie Wade

Debbie manages all our office and administration.

Anthony Foster

Anthony has worked for the company for over 5 years and currently is our Operations Manager. He undertakes a number of roles and provides support in almost all areas of the business.
